History of Our Firm

In 1998 Dan M. Weiss established a general practice law firm to serve the citizens of Lucas, Wood, Fulton, and Ottawa Counties and Northwest Ohio with their everyday legal needs in a friendly and supportive environment. In 2000 Peter F. Field joined Dan M. Weiss and they created the law firm of Weiss and Field to continue to meet the needs of the community. Mr. Weiss and Mr. Field bring a diversity of background and experience to the service of their legal clients, based on their previous professional careers and educational backgrounds.

From 1998 to 2003 the law firm maintained its office in the Perrys Landing complex, until it was fortunate enough to purchase 105 Louisiana Avenue in historic downtown Perrysburg. Weiss and Field renovated 105 Louisiana Avenue to reflect its 140 year history and moved into its current location in January 2004.

It is Weiss and Field’s mission to serve its clients with honesty, integrity, and a zealousness that reflects what was the best of the past and the best of the future.
